My cooling is just the regular XP90, and this heatsink has seen it's better days. I have a Zalman CNPS9500 on the way along with some G.Skill FF to go along with my new chip. I'm be so limited by temps right now it's not even funny so the IHS will probably be coming off shortly after I get my new heatsink.

I'm be so limited by temps right now it's not even funny so the IHS will probably be coming off shortly after I get my new heatsink.

Your clocks aren't too bad either

Meatfrog the IHS off will not bring so much.At HWLXX in the Thread its not always getting better from the Temps. Its an CABNE an FX Stepping they are a little bit hotter then other Steppings. But they are stable even at Aircooling. Need a good Watercooling to get stable over 3xxxMhz at Stockcore may be more or less the 1,36Vc.But 10K will bring me much more Mhz stable.Sorry for my English but i´m from germany.

What is your load temp? Is that your idle temp in ss?

Yes that was my idle temp in the screen shot the highest temp I saw under load was 55 a few times but it was mostly 52-53

My highest were around 47°C under Load Prime Custom at 3Gig. And Idle were 36°C at 3 Gig.You can see it in my Screenie. Your Batch is lower then mine Meatfrog. Grats.Now i have 2,8Gig by 1,232Vc Prime is working for 3Hours by 41°C Load temp.

I think Rufus7 has the same room temp that TeamJapan had in their thread in the oc section.

Meatfrog, there is a way to lower your load temps, just lower the room temp to 18c.

I will open my windows tonight to get 15°C Roomtemperature or lower and change the Blowers with more Speed to get lower Temps. With Watercooling would be easier for me to get higher clocks. But in the near future i will try to get a Watercooling unit to get more Clocks.
