    -100*s alky chiller cascade!

    Yep...1 more thing for me to do this weekend..finish the gas charge on the cascade -100*c alky chiller and test run it..ill get pic's up tonight along with some result's

    liquid chiller cascade? Wouldn't a pump shatter into thousands of pieces at -100C?

    On top of that doesn't 200proof alky freeze at -90C? This is a very cool interesting project to say the least.

    we are useing a purer alky to hit this,it's slush point is -115*c so were ok right now,if the fluid work's LOL

    2 compressor's,both danfoss unit's,r-507 1st stage r1150 + r290 2nd stage..ill get the pic's when we get ready to fire her up again.

    I suppose that can be true but at my moms work they have 200 proof reagant ethanol.

    if your using pure alco without an water wont the chances of fire be very high?
    i am sure there is a safer replacement.

    actual the vapors are more flammable than the liquid, all it takes is one spark in the fan motor and

    So U R going to use cascade to chill some liquid am I right? What kind of pump U going to use on it? I just thought that normal pumps won't work when the temps are so low. And one more guestion why U use that cascade like chiller? Why U don't put it to cool your cpu or gpu? Or are U going to put it to chill some liquid and then U cool your whol computer on it like normal watercooling?
