Thanks for the review. I think ATi has a winner on its hands with the whole "GT/GTO" series. The fact that yours pushes over 600 is very promising to say the least.

In the meantime I have this (credit to techpowerup).
It's an early R480... same week as my Powercolor X850XT but look at the area circled.
I believe ATI laser cut them, then cover with a square of solder (notice the square looks different to the other solder points in my R480 pics above).
Anyone wanna cover me if kill this card taking off that solder? Please sign here![]()
