I highly doubt that the gpu that Nvidia planned to use for their midrange product is 25% faster than a card thats already 10-30% faster than their previous gen top card. I've never seen Nvidia release a mid range product that much faster than their previous generation's top of the like model. At least not in recent memory.

If rumors are correct it would make the current-gen mid-range (on a brand new uArch) 40-45% faster than last gen's high-end. Has that ever happened?
