Then you got ripped off. The pics of the ME4 on Newegg show a back plate and my Asrock Extreme6 had one. The problem with putting another back plate on top of the Intel back plate is it can be uneven unless you tighten it down all the way and then it can warp the board. This is why i liked the Swiftech and Koolance back plates since they do not sit on top of the Intel back plate. I am glad to see this as it will make it easier to mount the block and not interfere with the Intel back plate or any other components on the back. And yes, we do need it for the 1366.

My M4E didnt have a backplate even.


However tibbor can we get a picture of the socket and how the retension system looks?
Did u guys make it ONLY for eK products? or did u make it universal?
