Hmm that is odd with DES2, what i do know is that if you don't install DES two then phase switching doesn't occur(as in 2 phases or 4 phases at a time) 12/12 phase occurs automatically other than when OCing.

Maybe DES hasn't been properly updated? IDK how it can change your vcore?

Do you have DES2 installed?

I'm extremely sceptical now, i love overclocking and raising the voltage while doing that, but for DES2 to push 1.58v through the chip when your aim is to save power is just absurd... I'm as baffled as you are
