Rev 2.1 boards are the boards that do DDR3-2000+, Gigabyte had serious ram compatibility problems.

You obviously have no idea how much experience chew* has with Gigabyte as well.

I've owned the 790X-UD4P as well as the 890GX-UD3H Rev 1.0 and both aren't great with ram. The 890GX-UD3H Rev 2.1 would do what my ASUS board does in my case.

And everyone knows Deneb can't do 4.2 stable on 1.45v, especially an unlocked CPU. Can it validate at that speed? Sure, easily. Will it get past Prime95/LinX? No more than 30 seconds. You seem to be fudging numbers just a little bit there.
