MSI was kind enough to send me a sample of their newly released graphics card HD5870 Lightning. Here's what happened.

At first I had some real troubles with getting the clock frequencies any higher than around 1325/1250 but after upgrading the bios of the graphics card to a newer version things started to go a bit smoother. I ended up being able to run 1380/1320 at -185*C (full pot) and 1.4v which was the sweetspot for this card. It's not the best one out there but it's quite good for a "bad" card

I lost my screenshot with the highest score (26998p) but here's the next best one:

There's still the validation file though and you can find the result here: http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dmv=2018982 (26998p at 1380/1320)

Currently this was enough for a 3rd place in MSI:s Futuremark-competition
