Then an x58 which runs 32 lanes x16 + x16 can render more data, this is what i was confused about, the way it was presented it makes it sound like hydra can saturate 2 16x lanes, with only 1 16x lane as input.. that didn't make sense.
And this is still what i am asking.. 16 lanes of data from the cpu... should only equal 16 lanes of output to the gpu's... why the 32 lanes? Maybe its my lack of understanding, but frame by frame, isn;t that how gpu's work already?
It's a lane multiplexer, just like the NF200 chip.
