I have them where they're needed (seven in total in there)- wherever there's torque on the fitting. Today I added another clamp to the bottom fitting on the res- you can tell by the pic that it needed it. I find that if the fittings and the tubing are decent, they're often not necessary. Why don't you just go all clamps down and clamp it away. If you've already clamped a couple of barbs you might as well clamp the others to give it a more uniform look. You also buy yourself a bit of safety
