Why Quick Discconects are so Awesome

Well, cuz of my friends, well i think there more enemies then friends.

I underwent a SLI bridge change.

I wanted to show you guys how easy it was because i had quick disconnects.

The problem with QD's is they are flow killers. But on your GPU loop, the 3-4C's wont help your overclocking at all.

So i am gonna show you why losing those couple of C's is WORTH it on your GPU loop.

My Loop started like this:


What i needed to do was pull the QD's off so i can get at the cards and drain the cards without card removal.



Tissue is the best leak detector. It bunches up and you know instantly when its wet. I put them on my QD's because you'll leak a few drops. Not a lot, but still a few drops.

Here is my QD's off and to the side:


Once QD's were pulled, i needed to use my drain line QD:


You guys know the rest... So i'll skip the elementry stuff.

Once water was evacuated from the cards, i pulled the SLI bridge:


Installed a Bitspower Dplug. To make it work, you need 2 koolance couplers.


After bridge was installed, i do my leak test live. I once again put tissue arround the new modified area, and do another 5 hour leak test while live.



So guys tell me now. Is the 3-4C really worth the convenice QD's bring? Total SLI bridge time replacement took no more then 10min.
