Without a baseline stiock clock, you would not be able to see the gains of the OC. With testing you always have to have a baseline as a comparator to see what you have gained or you will have no idea of the performance increase your OC gave you. It will be slightly different as show for each board and that could translate to larger changes when OC'd. That data is not just useful. It's priceless.
