HD4870+HR-03GT = insane vdcc temps?
well when i bought the hd4870 after it came out with all the talks about the how high the temps of the gpu get, i decided to payup and go for the best cooling solution at the time, which was the HR and i had a 120mm scythe fan attached to it for good measure.
at first seeing the gpu idle temp at 40c and a load temp of 55-60c i thought i made a good choice.
but now with gpuz showing all the temps of all the components i find that the vdcc chips are idling at around 70c , and loading at an insane 125-136c temp(the load pic didn't reach it's highest)...
now i didn't get a cooler to lower my gpu temp only to fry other parts of the card, not to mention the cooling solution takes 4 slots on the motherboard so it's supposed to be worth it.
are those temps as dangerous as i think they are? should i try and return the cooler(though it's been like two months..) and have them install my stock again? because i think rather have everything at 80-90c than have one thing going supernova.
