My FB-Dimms had been running over 90c for 8 months before I took it down to be replaced by a Q6600. It was a dual woodcrest. Perhaps, they did downclock but WCG ability wasn't effected. The whole rig was in a tight 2U chassis.

The warranty stickers on the RAM weren't there and I only found ashes by RAM slots.
