    There might be a few guys out there who might have funds for only one cpu.

    Not everyone could afford dual setups, and it was just handy information. so, as I mentioned, if you have this board, with a single Xeon, you don't need the 8-pin on your psu.

    Your statement in the first post was ambiguous, that's all - the one above more accurate.

    Simple as that, thought I'd clear it up
