Hi
loaded bios 1.18 again today and reinstalled vista so far so good i have installed all my hardware apart from my ram im using 1 stick of 512mb pny ram (5.5.5.18 1.85v) going to try my ram in a mo after i have made a back up for quick fix if vista dies on me, forgot all about it before.
Funny thing is when i tried to install vista yesterday i couldnt finish the install it would die at the last min and ask to redo it, tried all sort in the end re-flashed my bios still with the same bios 1.0 and it installed
this is why i updated to 1.18 just to see if things work better this time round as maybe just maybe i had a bad flash last time and it was that giving me a hard time.
With 1.18 i know its now using real volts not useless numbers so for TERM and GTL what sort of volts should i aim for i think im ok with the TERM more volts holds better FSB but im still guessing with the GTL volts im looking for a 400fsb clock nothing to high just yet
My VID (taken with core temp) is 1.3125 im sorry to say so its not the best chip around.
As always cheers for any help
