    Fun With Coolant and Motherboards

Okay, well, I've been extremely pressed for time today and am still frantically trying to get a bunch of stuff done before getting out of here... so I haven't had a chance to write up a blog entry or make a thread in our own forums about this or anything. Either way, I'm sure that you guys will find this little video amusing

I decided to have fun with a couple motherboards, some "non-conductive" PC coolant, and some distilled water--enjoy!

Note: I still have yet to determine whether or not I managed to totally brick either of the boards (something that I'll check out on Monday or Tuesday).

*edit* Poll added--I figured that I should have some fun with this

*edit #2* Just so people don't have to go all the way to page two for the outcome:

As of right now, I can say that the CPU, RAM, and video card are all working fine...

The two motherboards, on the other hand, are both dead. The board that was drenched with distilled gives a second of fan spin or so and then dies while the other board does nothing at all when you hit the power button.

Perhaps I should use a little less coolant next time?

Anyway, let this be a lesson to all of you: don't pour coolants on your motherboard.
