Seems pretty ho hum on the memory side too. Going to see if I have better luck with an old Asus P5B for 4x1gb memory set-up. Seems like voltage had to be goosed up a little across the board to get things stable after I went from 2x1gb to 4x1gb.
bios version 16b3 will give you the correct temp readings for your chip, i have the same problem with all bios versions after 16b3, i have a copy of it on my usb stick if you need it
