    You got further than me then -lol. Did you check to see if you could see and select the image backup on the the drive.? It works fine in Vista/WinXp but there can be issues with the rescue CD on P35/ICH9R setup with RAID. Which version did you try it with - I tried v8053 and when I booted the the rescue CD it couldnt see the raid drives. There are numerous ways round it if you encounter it such as using BARTPE or VISTAPE to build a bootCD.
