I cant confirm this. With my E8400 the Bios runs like a charm...
And the TRFc settings are godlike @55 i can run PerfLev 5 @600 Mhz 5-5-5-5-15 with 4x1GB...stable Greetz

Mostly QX9650 users are plagued mate... glad it worked for you, didn't at all for me I used another rom file ( bios from the thread here ) and then the rig booted with 400FSB but once I started messing with the ram to get more speed it capped out on me again... and I couldn't get it to fail safe boot... popping the battery was the only thing to bring it back a life again... back 0907 and runs fine there..
