Yes. Not top secret, basic in-lab testing and simulations of CMOS and microprocessor scaling and performance.

Oh and BTW, POST'ing 8GHz is also an achievement as it's not idling but BIOS and any pre-OS environment do not know how to idle the spare CPU cycles, thus, the CPU is always at 75-100% load in BIOS.

Only the first logical CPU though, the rest aren't loaded.
