How come this board (if that's the reason) has so many probes in ASUS Probe?
On my P5E i only have the Vcore,12,3,5 + CPU & MB temp... ?

Anything special you need to do, or is it just the boards that determine what you can see?
Both my Maximus Formula and Extreme have extra probes on the NB/SB etc, with the Extreme having 3 extra thermal probes you can place yourselfs. My P5K Premium don't have these sensors. I think it's just a X38 chipset function?

But I though PCIe goes through NB.
I had to clock down the memory. Now I a waiting for response from OCZ cause my mem should work @ 1600 ... but when I clock my RAMs to 1600 it´s only a matter of time till nvlddmkm.sys quits.... it recovers a few times but over the time I´ll get a bsd.
I have also had the 2 x 2GB OCZ DDR3-1600 EB Kit that cost almost £600!! , which refuse to boot at the advertised speed.. so I RMAed it and got the 1800 CellShock. Absolutely loving it!!

Note that the Maximus has a 2 phase Northbridge power controller, whereas the Formula, and in fact all my other motherboards, has only single phase. It might have contributed!!
