You're probably right, I also get the feeling Patriot are giving me the run around

I contacted ASUS support and they said all 4 slots should be able to run the RAM @ 1600Mhz so you can all breathe a sigh of relief now knowing that the 1333Mhz "limit" was either confusion between the DDR2/DDR3 combo boards (P35 ones) or a party line spun by Patriot.

Patriot are now talking about raising NorthBridge Voltage etc. Seriously what is a safe air cooled NBridge Voltage @ 333Mhz FSB (1333Mhz RAM) and what would be the recommendation for 1600Mhz?

I'm just a bit wary of burning the thing out at stock!
