The stock heat sinks might do fine, heck I still think the stock block might do OK?

I guess the same reason I jumped to the EK block over the stock, is the same reason I went with the Thermalright sinks. Just trying to give me more thermal room to play.

As to why I didn't go for the mosfet water block too? I would say cost was some, but I think 2 mosfet blocks along with my CPU, NB, and GPU all being in my 1 loop might hurt my flow, and or temps a tad? I'm too new at the game to know for sure. I do think the Thermalright sinks should keep them a bit cooler than the stock sinks did.

Once I came to the harsh conclusion, that even if I decided to run the stock ROG cooling, it should still be re-mounted. That alone was giving 10 to 15 C lower temps in general. Then I figured if I was going to have to melt all the stock cooling off the mobo anyway, including the mosfet sinks, I might as well upgrade. Then we heard 20 to 25 C loaded temps with an aftermarket NB block, I had to jump. The EK black matches my D-tek black too, so that is why I didn't go for the clear.

I am proud of my TJ09 and how much open air I have in it. I installed lots of fan's in the case alone. Most of my water cooling gear is external in the WaterKeg so it's even more uncluttered. I wanted an excuse to air cool something in the flippin case!! I guess the Thermalright sinks are it.

Fans I have installed in my system so far:
    Cooling (Air):
    (5) 120mm Scythe S-FLEXT Case Fan. (63.7 CFM/28 dBA) $70.00
    (1) ZALMAN ZM-MFC1 Fan Controller Panel. (4 fan speed control, and 2 togle switches) $29.99
    (1) Corsair ram fan CMXAF1 RTL. $19.99
    (1) Masscool FD07015S1M3/4 RTL. $3.99
    (1) Silenx Ixtrema Pro Series 40mm 14dBA 5CFM. $17.00

Now I just have to make sure I can get the sinks to fit, and installed correctly.

I am starting to wonder if my Silenx Ixtrema Pro Series 40mm fan, should now end up on my SB sink?

I ordered new thermal tape. Is that the best to use for attaching these sinks to the mosfet's?
