i am almost tempted to purchase this board but after my last .... i'll wait for the Abit max ver to come out

My experience is not quite so bad , though i don't have fond memories of the ROG Commando.

What may be ok here though is the board appears to originate from taiwan, not , like the commando & strider, china. The talk of quality issues with boards seems to hang over the china plant which i believe was new at the start of the year.

must admit i like the crazy, high & normal voltage indicators

I'm torn this or abit IX38 QuadGT supposedly next week ??
