I know the link says thermaltake but the thermalright ultra-120 extreme is much much better than any thermaltake heatsink.

Yeah, I kinda wish I would have looked at your post before I clicked the trigger, lawry. But that's ok. As long as I don't have fitment issues (which should be ok), then I'll be happy with this Thermaltake when it arrives on Tuesday.

Unfortunately, I can't. I cut the heatpipe when I removed the stock NB block, and after a week or two of running the Spirit 2 NB cooler, one of the two hooks that's holding it in pulled out from the mb. Thankfully it was the bottomright one, nearby the memory, and I was able to stretch the mounting legs and pull it to the hole that the motherboard gets mounted in.

It's okay though. This motherboard has done me proud, and done me well in the 8 months I've owned it. It will rest in piece(s), and will always have a spot in the back of my mind, since it was my first attempt at watercooling.

Just got my Q6600 G0 L24A760 in, testing it at stock volts currently, at 3.0 ghz prime stable 10 min so far. My VID is 1.2875 and my load volts are bouncing between 1.25-1.26. 2206 bios.

Glad to know that stock volts can do so well with the g0's! I can't wait to get my new board and chip and begin playing around again.
