It does change the timings, that's for sure. At least it tries to tighten them if possible.

For example, if I set DRAM to AUTO and 5:6 ratio, memset performance level goes from 10 to 7 for Standard vs. Extreme. That's quite a bit.

And that's with BIOS 5Fh.

It used to change mem subtimings as well with BIOS' older than F5h (you could see them in CPU-z), but not anymore.
