    QX6700 on the mini-cascade - 1st results

To much work, finally I managed some time to do a quick test of a retail QX6700

Since Ricky made me a mini-cascade with VapoLS mounting kit, is real pratical to mount the CPU on it - even more quick than the Tuniq

Poor Mini-Cascade (orignal VapoLS + original Promie compressors) the heat of the 4 cores really give the cascade a hard time, the temperatures start to raise really quickly (from -70ºC on idle to -40 or less in load)

    Here is a photo :

First let's find how many MIPS do I have under the hood..

    82 thousand MIPS ..not bad

    Now the inevitable CineBench

    9 Seconds

Now let's check how fast can it run 4 SuperPI's in each core..

Timings really bad since the memory are not optimized by any means..

And finally the CPU Score of 3D Mark2006

    6.500 : almost doubles the X6800 score..eheh

I really need to test this CPU on Ricky's new 3 Stager ..anyway a few more results in the Mini-cascade in the next few days , I think is time for 3D Mark2006 action
