    Cool Wayne's V2000 dream

So I get a PM from Wayne a while ago asking about fixing up a Mach1 he bought, and it went from a 'repair' into this project.

I'll let the details speak for themselves, but I think it's turned out quite well. Quite a few hours into making it all pretty for him, but he's definitely planning a case window, and I wanted to make sure that it would look nice enough inside that he'd be proud to show it off

    Full spec...

    NL11F Danfoss compressor
    Kayl's head and enclosure
    Johann's flex line
    Original condensor from the mach
    402a blended gas
    Sunon fans back and front
2m x 2 EL wire on line with inverter
    Golden Froster XE wtih module
    3.5mm ALU checkerplate base

Laying it out for the build

The line getting together with EL wire and Kayl head

    Shot in the dark

The line got heavier flex that holds it's shape and will take a little more abuse when manhandling it for different socket locations. 2.95m of .031" captube, EL wire under the braid, and Kayl head for performance and of course that pretty plate too

Sprayed the condensor to match the silver case

And this is how it's all fit in...

The only really 'icy shot' I was able to get, it's from a weird angle, so that's why it's hard to see

    And the display in operation

Otherwise I was working hard to get finished up before Wayne came up to pick it up, but other than the fitting of the display to a bezel for now, it's close to what it was.

The gas was a blend so that quiet fans work well with it, and the no load temp was around -55 when done, and -41 or so with the fluke on 150w test, and showing -36 or so on the Froster Display. The new software can be used later to adjust the temperature 'trim'.

So hopefully Wayne get's more of the pics of the display's temporary mount (he's got plans for that ) and the little finishing touches, and of course a few more 'Ice' shots too.

Was a very time consuming build getting everything the way I wanted it for him, but if h'es happy then that's what's really important I just feel honored that he let me help to make that 'dream' into a reality

    Cheers

    Gray
