You obviously have no idea what you are talking about and how energy flows work and have effect on CPU overclocking. JAKE:(howso just because i dont want to cool my cpu alone??)
And as for the Palermo cores: All Palermo cores are the same, they use the exact same design. Newer CPUs will overclock beter because of the constantly improving production proces at AMD. As for not supporting different features, this is all done by changing registers inside the CPU. The same registers hold information about the model number etc. So no x86-64 only means a 0 instead of a 1 inside the CPU, which has nothing to do with overclocking.
JAKE:(apparently you havent read very many of amd's documents hell not even all palermo cores are made with .09u some are .13u and theres actual hardware differences that make it a 64 not just the register

JAKE:(this may be true but like i said i havent had any problems with it yet...i live in the middle of nowhere and the most dust i get is from cars driving by..i know people with unsealed oil systems that have used them for 2 years with no oil change)
If you think oil cooling of the entire system has better overclock results then the same cooling system filled with water only cooling the CPU you are sadly mistaken. In my experience extra cooling on the chipset and rest of the system on a K8 system has little to no effect to the maximum overclock. When cooling the CPU you are also cooling the clock generations circuits and memory controller inside, those combined with the memory and quality of the motherboard/power supply determine the max overclock. And you don't need to cool the sides of the CPU, the actual CPU is only a very small core in the silicium. The rest is just for connecting that core to the mainboard.

I don't see why you cling to incorrect statements as if they were true. I bet you 95% of the public here could beat your overclock within the day. You yourself could increase your overclock greatly by just mounting a good WC block on the CPU and using regular WC on the CPU
JAKE:(i could achieve higher clocks if my motherboard would support higher voltage without a volt mod im stuck at 1.6 volts also my nforce3 250 chipset stops at 300 fsb.....so given the same limits as i face i seriously doubt anyone could do much better with this board... and if so im glad to hear it its not like im trying to win some freaking trophy....) im just a overclocker thats having some fun playing with my system..
so if you need to boost your ego by bashing someone about their ideas and thoughts while overclocking...take it to another thread cause i dont want to hear from arrogant asshats...
