For "normal" overclockers... is it safe to do the vdimm like this?

what are the differences for pc_ice way?

    thanks a lot

It's semi-stable at this speed, I can play CS:Source indefinitely but Superpi fails 32M test after about 6 minutes. Is the Vcore really that low?

[Edit] One more thing, using clockgen I can set the VID to anything equal to or below 1.45V but anything higher (goes up to 1.55V) and it just stays at 1.45V. Strange.

that just makes it 3.3v right? I was thinking of getting a DDR booster but my memory like 3.0v, (TCCD) so i was thinking ill try a 3.3v mod and see if it likes that, if it dose ill go with it.

what do you mean you can change the PSU 3.3v line? Your talking about a sence wire mod right? Not in the bios?

For the VDD mod, there are 2 solder pads for both the red and brown wires. Do I solder the wires to the pads closest to the SATA ports or do I need to bridge the solder pads and attach the wires. It is hard to tell from the picture.

Hi out there .... Have a question about the Vdimm mod for the K8N Neo 2

Here we can see the default mod ...

And here You can see the Mod for the MSI K8T Neo2-F done for a friend of my.

U can see, i soldered direktly to the RamSlots. Will this work for the K8N Neo2 too, or have I to use the Capa Mod ?

One other question ... i have read the K8N Neo2 tips and tricks guide .... there is an informnation wich is telling me the OCZ Booster will work to 4V on Slot 4

The OCZ Homepage just tells me the Booster will only work to 3.4V for this Board.

    Wich information is correct ?!?

    I've got 2 questions:

    1) Pot for VDD mod should be 20k right? To increase voltage I need to lower the resistance?
    2) Can I use JC11 (chassis intrusion jumper) to plug my 3.3V vio mod on it? So I can turn it on and off.... using a jumper

    Hi everybody:
    My first post (from Spain)

I get same problem that adslegend, CPU-Z says 1.600 and mosfet read 1.39 idle and 1.35 load. If I put 1.40 bios and CPU-Z says 1.400-1.39, mosfet read is 1.20 . Is posible that reading point of vcore was other point, what??

    Thanks
