G.Skill: world’s first Guarantee DDR600 PC4800 1T Memory

The new model is F1-4800DSU2-1GBFF, a matched pair of 512MBx2 dual channel DDR memory module. These modules are tested at DDR550 PC4400 1T 2.5-3-3-7 latency setting and DDR600 PC4800 1T 2.5-4-4-8 latency setting in the configuration as below:

Motherboard: DFI LANParty UT nF4 Ultra-DVersion A02, BIOS Date 1/25/2004
Voltage setting between 2.7V to 2.9V
CPU: AMD Athlon64 3000+ (Overclock to 300*8 or 300*9)
Software: MEMTEST86+ V1.51 in DOS mode

I always thought ocz was first with their EL 4800 Platinum?
(i know they are tested 2T but still run 1T on "certain" motherboards)

ALL TCCD modules rated at ddr600 will run 1T on some boards and only 2t on others, it also depends on your memory controller.

Good TCCD (OCZ or Gskill) that does 275 7-3-3-2.5-1T should hit STABLE 300 7-3-4-2.5-1T with ease....

noting new here, most of the tccd can do 300mhz 2.5-4-4-8 t1 on the dfi boards.

No thats not what im saying, i said we test on both boards. I quoted earlier many MSI boards need 2T to run 600 stable, some will get lucky though.

The board for 1T is the DFI although i haver a feeling the Epox will be sweet also, the NF3 was with a vdimm mod.

So can you honestly say that OCZ EL PC4800 is finally a good strong competition for Gskill PC4400LE or PC4800LA ?
I would love to play with it to see if it hits what my GSkill 2x512MB does - DDR640 7-3-4-2.5-1T SuperPi 16M stable on my DFI NF4.... Is it available yet?

Then the OCZ is'nt a comparable product if its DDR600 2T, this is DDR600 1T.

They aren't released yet, and G.skill is not givin any MSRP on any of their products....

I'm going to take a stab and say the command rate has nothing to do with the memory and the limit of it rests solely on the memory controller.

FAH only consumed proc power as far as i know, maybe 10mb of memory tops. it would make a very minor difference if any at all

How would these God Skill DDR600-1T 2.5-4-4-8 end-up compared to the OCZ VX PC4000 (DDR500-1T 2-2-2) for benchmarking and gaming? When will they be able to beat tight timings with even looser?
