thanks man, I have had it as high as 111.1 but I have not tested more than that.

most chips I have tested could do 108.7 (good for 2600+ with 2400 memory divider)

Just picked up a 3770K 3226B988 to see if it does better than my current one. Couldn't resist Microcenter's price!

My friend bought one 3570K couple of days ago, today he started testing some OC and right now it?s primestable at 4500mhz and 1.2vcore. That?s good right? He?s batch is L224C021 ?? My 3570K needs 1.36vcore for 4500mhz so it?s a huge difference in voltage. Wonder if i shall go and get the same batch as him tomorrow

Well my 3226B988 turns out to be a dud compared to my current chip. This one needs 1.36V for 4.8GHz stable, my original chip only needs 1.308V for 4.8GHz stable. Time to ship it to the for sale section.

mmm not much difference between a single batch number!

    3226B987

    4.85 Ghz 1.34 Vcore

    But tweaking a little...

4.8 Ghz -1.27 vcore -1401 Mhz IMC - Full Bank

Nice. What memory set do you have? Voltage on DRAM?

    Hyper Threading enabled?

Vcore in ram 1.65 default, HT Enabled ,beyond 4.6 CPU PLL goes to 1.8 vcore ( I don't try 1.7 or less )
    memory kit are Avexir Core Series 2800 ( 4x4 ) 12-14-14-35 - 2T ( default rams ) chips Hynix CFR

I play much with CPU PLL but that is because batch is good and let me play if not...just don't boot

My 3770k is stable at 5GHZ with HT on or with HT off but it feels faster with HT off and with HT off I can lower voltage about .08v on vcore so it runs cooler and feels faster to me.

IBT run at 5ghz with HT off.

So you saying that lowering vpll allows you to lower cpu vcore too? That is strange because it seems to have no effect on mine, and i can boot even with 1.4V vpll...

This. Playing with pll from 1.35v up to 1.6v have no effect on vcore at all.

only dif is that chip maybe not stable with PLL on 1.8 or more, but never heard that if you lower pll will let you lower vcore...i tested more than 15 chips...

only on high bench increasing VCSSA and VCSSIO and dropping PLL lets you go up on Mhz on CPU

Not only cpu pll...i don't say only cpu pll can do this... read again i say that play with that, BUT maybe is Because BATCH IS GOOD ---- for that the lowering vcore = cpu pll and others values just helped or not but again is because batch use lower vcore

Well I finally found one i'm happy with. Batch 3224B 134. 5ghz with all 4 banks of mem populated at 32 gigs. Got the ram running at 1800mhz. Will try to push for 2400 Later tonight.
Voltage is at 1.39 Volts, stable with Intel burn, HyperPi and Prime95 12 hrs. highest temp was on prime at 71 degrees. This is delidded. Idle cores are at 29-33 degrees.

Just picked the same batch up today and I am having issues getting it stable at 4.8 with 1.355 volts. From what I have read this is a early june batch (you got it from microcenter right?) and most of these do not clock well. So far that is holding true for me but this is my first ivy chip. I may reinstall my 5Ghz 2600K and return this hot 3770K. Not sure yet. If I cant get it any higher than 4.8 then I have to consider my upgrade a side step at best because my 2600K would do easy 5Ghz 24/7 and up to 5.2 if I pushed it.
