Do not use this small tube by putting inside flow meter it reduces the flow.
Also it's very important to haver correct flow direction (when cables are up the flow should be to right).

Well Hello boys and girls

I have just returned from my holiday back to my home land (South Africa).

Before I left I got some things done on the build and also had some things delivered, but I also had a bit of a problem.

When I was testing the motherboard it decided to die on me

But I have another one on the way

Also in the mean time I got another toy (Gigabyte X58A-OC) to play around with

Also had another GTX460 Top cut out as I have decided to SLI the GPU's.

This coming weekend I will be getting some parts cut out for the case.

Below are some images of the CPU waterblock and of the test rig I am running at the moment.

OK so I have been go for quite a long time (sorry about that)

But I have been working on the build thou :p

OK so the rampage gene III is out the window the third and final board gave up on me so I decided to go with something better

Cant decided whether or not to water cool this bad boy thou Mmmmmm, What you guys think????

Also got some new toys Got a new Keyboard mouse and headset all Corsair and if I must say its the best £200 I have ever spent

Ok lets get down to the build, I have been to see my local laser cutter and I have given him a number of things I would like to have cut out for the build, which you guys and girls will see in due time.

Also got the second GPU so running test on them at the moment but I can tell you that at the moment I have 900Mhz on the core which I am really happy about.

Well thats all I have for the moment but next weekend I will post some pics of the things I had cut out

Hello

Well been working on the case today, went to the laser cutter and got all the parts that I had cut out. Must say he did a really good job, will be using him on my next build

Well on to the parts. Had the front plate made which I think it turned out very well. When I was about the get the front plate cut out I decided to get a new motherboard tray cut out also, this new tray runs the full length of the case and this way you will only see white inside the case which looks really good.....!!!!

After I test fitted the tray I raped it in white vinyl, I did this because its easier than painting the tray and also looks better. After I did this I fitted the front plate and also cut out the case where I need to so it would fit.

Now all that remains is to get a CPU for the motherboard and also another SSD because the one I had landed up in my Laptop lol.

Hello

Well I did some work on the case over the weekend with regards to the lighting.

I ordered some LED strip lights of good old eBay for a very very good price, and for the price they are really good quality



Just to give you an idea of the LED Strips I will be using (I didn't see the need to get the water proof LED Strips HAHAHAHAHA) get it water proof water cooling :P

The one problem I was faced with was lighting up the Aqua Tube, I wasn't going to use the pre drilled LED Hole in the rear of the tube because I dont like the look of all thous LED cables handing around. SO I came up with a really good plan, take a strip and rap it around the tube itself



So what I did was rape the LED strip with white sleeving so you don't see the unsightly brown LED strip cable.



Once this was done I created a Round Hoop which will fit over the Aqua Tube.




How it looks when the LED's are on.




And the end result. I am quite pleased with how it turned out, then lights don't look unsightly and light up the Tube very nicely, much better than what the 5 LED light in the back would have done.

Now once this was done I moved on to the case lighting. Now I wanted to do the same as what I did for the Tube buy rapping the LED Strip because it makes the LED Strip look more "Sleek" if you will. But this made the lights create a kind of purple beam of light which you can see on all the white parts with in the case so in the end I decided to take the sleeving off and just go with the strip on its own, I mean you hardly see the strip when the case door is on let alone when its off.

Hello....!!!!!!!!!!!

Right as this weekend is going to be a long one (due to the bank holiday) I decided on Thursday that I was going to finish the build off.

So I called the good people at SCAN and ordered the last of the parts I needed, and as always the good people at SCAN made sure that everything go delivered on Friday just in time for the big weekend (Thanks SCAN)


I decided also that I was going to measure the temp of the water as is leaves the RAD so I needed to call SPECIALTECH and order the parts and again everything was delivered the next day (Thanks SPECIALTECH)

I am was still waiting for my Aquaero's to get sent back to me because for some reason they both decided to die on me a couple of weeks ago, Aquacomputer say that they will be able to work on them in the coming week so hopefully by next week I should have them back.

Even thou I don't have a Aquaero to use I can still finish off the rig and just wait till I get the Aquaero's back (The beauty of having more than one rig...hehehe)

Most of today will be spent testing the PC parts, going to get the motherboard on my test bed and test way (mmm....OVERCLOCKING)

Ok well let's have a look at some photos of the parts and the work that I have managed to do last night.



The SSD is a 30Gb going to be used for Caching

The PSU is going to be used on my test bed, One I have is on its last legs.

The CPU is a i5 3570k, didnt see the point in getting a i7. Have one now and don't even use it potential.

The RAM is Cosair Dominator Platinum 1866mhz. Real nice looking and its Coasir




This I need some help on. I got both types of T fitting, cant decided which one looks better. Let me know what you think guys (only going to put the loop together Sunday)


Right now on to the good stuff, below are some Images of the work that I have done so far. Again let me know what you think.



As you can see the bottom of the case is where the air is going to be taken in from, you can also see the LED strip lighting and the pump position.



The cover for the fans at the bottom. Its been laser cut from frosted perspex.



The final results. As you can see you cant see any of the LED strips when the cover is in place.



The fans pulling in the air with dust fillers fitted.



Top of the case with the LEDs show, again you wont see these as the RAD and Door are in the way.



An image of the cable management so far. The black zip ties will be covered by the RAD when its in place.



Top fans, covered them in white vinyl. Think is looks good
