I'm sorry Dave, reservations are not accepted here; first come ,first serve.

Would like to see you further up top though. I honestly do not know why I am on top. I know others have faster systems than I do. Mine is just average.

I am in the proccess of buying a house. My first house yay!

As such I will be moving soon. So my production is going to severely drop off. And in my house I will not have free electricity. Time will tell how much I will be able to contribute. Maybe I will do like others and stick a rad in my cold air duct and heat my house in the winter and turn off the furnace lol...

But my house will have A/C! So I should be able to keep my 5.0GHz main rig going all year round.

I picked up a VIRUS? Trojan last night and lost 1/2 a day trying to get rid of it and BOINC wouldn't connect.
Finally had to delete and do a fresh install.
This little bugger also redirects all your google searches to a site called "Scour"
Trying to find all the files now to get rig of it..

I had some bad days with CEP2 WU's that got stuck. Some how the cruncher restarted these over and over. And I hadn't checked the cruncher in a few days. But I should be back on the list with the next update.

I hate those redirect virus. Almost always it is easier and faster to format and reinstall.

And my 2600K is still falling in RAC and it's still running 24/7 clocked higher than the rest. I really do not understand.

Seems to be settling into the new level of points now (for me at least).

How much change have you seen since the shutdown?

Well my 2600K is still below yours by quite a bit (I noticed about a 1k RAC drop as things settled). And the interesting thing is my 2600K rarely gets touched. Just sits crunching and is lagging behind with a higher clock. While my 3930K is only at 4.6GHz on air and is a actively used system everyday (except weekends) and its right up there... WTF!

    Do you have Boinc Tasks?
    Check the CPU efficiency.
My 2700K above 4.7GHz starts losing efficiency as it hits the 95 Watts TDP and Thermal Monitor is activated. No problems with temperature from CPU or VRM, but i don't want to deactivate the thermal monitor 2 in bios as the summer is coming.

Both machines are crunching roughly the same set of WU's. I am stumped.
