I am not 100% sure that your CPU is running correctly for which benchmarks might show different results and impact on Boing results are you using the gpu too for the benchmark and if so whats the differences on both OSes...

WCG doesn't use the gpu so that's not it. Question: What would happen if I replaced the 210 with a 6850? Do I need to do anything beforehand or can i just swap them out and everything will work?

Well it looks like chameleon supports it out of the box since 1.5 so yeah just swap them

na, it's just a mic - line-in / pink.. line out/green works fine, but not the mic

Hi there tiro... I first had issues too using iCloud and the App store it helps using the option of EthernetBuildIn=Yes at org.chameleon.Boot.plist at the Extra folder... should fix that after a reboot.. using a program called champlist helps doing it with out messing the bootloader is a great Free app!!

ok, I downloaded that program... I presume it's the setting under configurations/general - it says: 'Ethernet Built In' ... it is checked - do I uncheck it?

The microphone might work after setting the Audio Midi setup on Utilities... give that a go see if you got it setup to another line...

ok, so I installed older voodooHDA drivers.. I can hear myself from the mic, but for some reason skype isn't playing with it

as for app store - still can't sign in which things can I mess with in champlist?

Ill do some research but if we used teamviewer so I could login to your system it would make life easier LOL am working right now and wont be able to help till tomorrow mate, mic try changing the audio settings on the skype?... you shouldnt need to install any voodoohda kexts...

ok, I'll try that........ it mentions removing 'NetworkInterfaces.plist file' - I did this late last week in an attempt to fix my problem....OSX simply re-creates the file after restart - is that normal?

but I think I've fixed my mic problems! I went back to even older VoodooHDA drivers!

in regards to the app store sign in problem..... I get the feeling that with all the file messing about I did last week, that something is hindering progress.... for example, since messing with those 2 plist files, every time I boot into OSX, the trash can has something in it that OSX has made itself :/

Just try to follow the steps the Networkinterface gets made when you use the Eth0 or 1 which is the ethernet or wireless i would do the steps remove the Ethernet device under the network control preferences and restart after than recreate the interface and call it eth0... give that a go....

Am so angry with my macbook I have bought 2 batteries and after using them once is already asking me to services them going from 100% health to 70%... at 30% it just shuts down the macbook... Ill have to buy it from the Apple store I suppose....

That doesn't sound like bad batteries to me. I've bought a lot of knock off batteries and never had that issue.

The weird thing is if I didnt let the battery go down to 30% it would work fine holding for unleast 5 hours and I bought both of them from different sites and they both died at 30% battery, when I turn in on the MacBook shows me only 70 (now 69%) Health am gonna try and find an original and see what happens if I happens again Ill know is the MacBook not the battery then....so far I've changed the bezel, led hdd and battery if I dont get it fixed Ill get rid off it waisting too much money better buying a laptop and hackintoshing it...

nope I became sidetracked & haven't had the time to tackle the issue..... at one stage my hackintosh was dis-assembled! Its together again, but haven't fired it up yet since re-assembly
