Moved the Hyper dimms to slot 1/3. With the same settings as my previous runs, it BSOD's (x124) once it gets to Windows. Back in slots 2/4, it runs just fine.

124 is generall VTT related, Try bumping your vtt up a bit..

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

@Johnny: Yup, I pushed it up a bit. It did work now. Strange that it needs lesser QPI/VTT on slot 2/4.

Safe range? Sorry i donīt understand why guys say this is a safe range if the official maximum is 1.05v +/- 3% for this voltage (VCCIO)?!

And if you have memory which is supported then you donīt need to raise this voltage.

Safe range meaning you dont wanna go to over 9000 VTT do you? , but yah you get what im saying.. Even with memory supported not always run at the rated specs.. Little vtt does help here and there its even been said a few times.. And 1.05v isnt default for every board, ive seen stock vccio stock way higher on diff boards..

    then these boards sucks....

    i had a MSI P67-GD55, Intel DP67BG, Gigabyte P67A-UD4, ASUS P8P67 Evo / Deluxe and MIVE, Biostar TP67XE and TH67XE.

Stock VCCIO was ~1.05v on all boards (and it is the Intel Spec).

No idea and to be quite honest I doubt I would ever find out. I am only interested in my overclock being 3D benchabe. So for me if it will pass Vantage then I am a happy girl. The rest I will leave for those who are interested in those kinds of thing. Not for one moment suggesting that stability tests do not have value, just saying that for my needs stability means something else.

Nice 1Day,can you show voltage in BIOS with EasyTune6 .

    Btw,latest is EasyTune6 B10.1228.1
    http://download.gigabyte.us/FileList..._et6_intel.exe

Chri$ch,we discuss in this thread,as we don't have the memory which is supported.

Thanks Johnny87au,will try to increase Vtt to 1.30V.

vdimm or IMC not able to handle it

can you finish 32M SuperPi, if yes than ram is ok most likely and IMC is weak

To pass with the Hypers at 2133Mhz 7-8-7-21 1T I need 1.68Vdimm... touching other voltages didn't help... only Vdimm adjusted here on the Pro and Dlx boards ( Sorry Dino PJ smoked the UD4 )

I really have no idea if raising the system agent voltage and VTT to these levels is a good idea for 24/7... time will tell... maybe we can start a SB degrading thread again soon

Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

SB is more efficient per clock than previous dual channel architectures, assuming all else is setup properly and the IMC can handle the workload, VDIMM requirements will possibly be higher on the SB architecture at equivalent MHz to P55 and X58 (triple channel).

Load transients on the VDimm line are likely to be a little sharper (dual channel) so perhaps a tad more peak neagative overshoot when going from idle to load - the workaround is obviosuly to notch vDimm higher to compensate. Also be mindful that most motherboard vendors use the same buck controllers between architecture generations; these will satisfy Intel minimum requirements but obviously increased I/O over the bus has it's effect. That's without getting into IMC voltage swing related changes within the IMC; most of these parameters are fully automated and in certain cases newer archirtectures are geared for higher density modules, which have different drive requirements.
