V Series Liquid Fusion (Tested and Finished)

In recent months I had been working on the final design of my reservoirs, which I had hoped to move to the production stage by the end of the year. I'm happy to say that they are coming out a little bit early, and have finally finished testing.

With that, I would like to announce that everyone who previously has purchased a prior version of any of my reservoirs, is entitled to a 60% discount off any new reservoir purchased direct through me.

Tonight I got the chance to finally get some pictures taken, and sit down and post some updates. There is a huge list of changes made to the product so here it goes.

    - Mounting clip clamping pressure has been reduced 50%. This fixes the issue of stress fractures in the center wall of the cylinder.
    - Much better quality polycarbonate tube. I selected this brand out of 4 manufacturers samples I had been given.
    - Each reservoir comes with a Feser G1/4" Chrome Fill Plug
    - Each reservoir comes with a Logisys UV CCFL bulb, which has much better compatibility with a variety of inverters. The previous bulbs had many inverter compatibility issues.
    - Full threaded Delrin end caps seal to the tube with high grade BN50 o-rings
    - Light tube is threaded at both ends for increased safety and aesthetic value, no glue or solvents involved
    - Every reservoir is leak tested to 50psi twice before shipment.
    - Helix insert is modular, and can be taken off if need be. The insert secures to the bottom Delrin block by snapping on to two brass pins embedded in the base of the Delrin block.
    - IceCaps are still available in 10 different colors, the new IceCaps are made from 1/16" wall aluminum alloy, and slide perfectly over the Delrin caps, eliminating the need for set screws or thumb screws to hold them in place.
    - Eventually, the fluorescent red helix's are going to be available only a separate insert, I am replacing them with the blood red acrylic.
    - Helix core has an oval disc on the top that helps to snap the helix into alignment when the top cap is screwed on, this helps to keep the helix straight and in place at all times.

A few of the different helix's I have in the bin right now:

Just got myself a Liquid Fusion the other day. It looks absolutely stunning. Now I just need to wait 4 weeks untill I get my salary to buy the rest. I managed to get this one during an awesome sale @ HighFlow for only 67 euro (!) .

From what I can tell in his buildlog (which can be found here), he's using straight distilled.

Btw, nice shot Luke, looks awesome .

FrozenQ, your work is looking really nice as usual. I'm sure a lot of people are pretty jealous of your products by now! Is it possible to purchase a blood red res now? If so, which sizes do you have or all they all one size. My mount point can fit a very large/long res. so that's what I was kind of wanting to do.

Mate how much are these? Going to buy one of these now for my next build, get em while u still have em...

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

Depends really on the amount of customization. It can range between $90-$180 depending on what you want done with it. All of the options are on the order form on my website, feel free to check it out and ask questions.

Hey FrozenQ, I'm quite interested in what the SpiralFX and Flex Tank will be you have a page ready for on your site. Perhaps you could give us some insight as to what they will be?

Just awesome. Amazing work dude. Undoubtedly the best looking res for sale today given all the colour options.

Only ever seen your reservoirs with clear tubes. Have you experimented with frosting/tinting/mirroring/coloured outers at all? Could look cool with a one-way effect. Dark/mirrored til you turn the light on. Could also solve the age old "coloured coolant looks better in the res" debate.

The new SpiralFX reservoir I had done a concept of a month or two ago, I posted the videos of it running on my YouTube channel earlier. I have some kinks to work out in the design, but then it will be released.

The Flex Tank will also be out shortly, but I am still working out some things in the design. Basically it is a 1 piece milled black Acetal micro-reservoir with a clear or colored side panel. This side panel comes standard with the FQ etched in the bottom right, but blank ones will be able to be purchased and custom art etched onto them for a true personalized look.

I had tried different colored tubes before, however they are all extruded acrylic and I would never want to actually use that in my finished product. I can get colored or tinted cast acrylic tube, however since it would need to be done custom from the factory they typically require an order of at last 10,000 linear feet.

Should I be thinking black acetal version of the Swifty Micro res with a side panel?

FrozenQ, when can we expect those FlexTank reservoirs in shop? You've posted links to several resellers on your website, but none of them seem to have them in their lists yet.

I know I'm sending FrozenCPU and PPC's theirs today. I'd assume they will both have them up by Monday. TFC has not placed an order yet for any shops in Europe, but they are working on it.

EDIT: Oh and DazMode has them up for sale already too.

Thanks! Just one quick suggestion: It might be helpful to all us wacky metric dudes out there if you could add the metric dimensions as well .

Edit: also noticed the thumbnails on this page don't link to the proper images .
