At this point I want to see what happens to mine, so I'm running it, safely.

It will be interesting to see what happens with the replacements.
At least I'll have a way to test that too

I think all the T3 needs is a thicker wall but does that not require a new mold?
I got my email to and it's dut to be sent today or tomorrow.
I hope this T3 is the one.

i hope so too, i really want to get one but not be paranoid, or i might just make an aluminium tray with sides to go into the bay below it to catch any potential leaks hmmm

I would like to think the screw holes have all been strengthened in some way.
That was always it's achilles heel to me.
It's the only part that ever failed.
How they will do that without making another mold is beyond me.

Its not the only part that failed. Many reports in this thread discuss leaking at the seal for the pump. Thats my concern.

Dreddy did you get Brians email about installing the backplate?
He says to tighten each screw at 25% until all are tightened.
He also says to pinch the backplate onto the T3 while you tighten it.
I look forward to your review, don't take to long.

Does it look any STRONGER? or Thicker just from looking at it?

I really want to replace mine even if it is not leaking, I have to much money in this system to fry it with a Bunk Res.

Alright so here it is. The first thing I noticed, was that the glue job, is a bit sloppy and rushed by comparison

Also, the mold mark on the right side is still there, but is less noticeable.

So what did they fix? From the looks of it, I believe they thickened the outer walls of the back, but not the back itself btw

Also the screw holes were culprit #1. They’re trying to remedy this with smaller screws and gluing the "nut" into the original holes. Let’s hope they used a semi flexible glue lol.

By the way, the new screws are tiny!

Also, they didn’t seem to package the "washers" for the fittings, and included bigger o-rings for using other fittings instead. That impressed me a bit.

And who can say no to free bling? Well, not really free, I did have to sit around without a T3 for a while.

Darn image hosting failures making me use my backup hosting...
