That's a sick ram kit! Hope you can get some really nice clocks out of it and run superpi 32m effeciently!
Here I am benching with a $100 3gb 2000 cl9 kit that doesn't oc well...

Just need a better board now my evga x58 tops out at 220. Well done with the single 9800GX2 for now did 05, 06, and vantage for 31.1 pts. Now time for the dual setup to keep HardwareLuxx off our backs for a little bit longer.

Pulsar, please run 3dmark 06 and vantage again with hyperthreading enabled on your CPU, even if you have to lower it to 4.35 or 4.4! You'll get much higher CPU scores and 06 will jump.

Linux, ill get my 8800gtx today. last one did 690 core / 1090 mem / whatevershader comes auto with that core speed on air, so ill try how hard i can push this one on air, LN2 will have to wait 2 weeks, going to snowboard in austria

Remounted the heatsink on my top 9800GX2 with some MX-2 and win7 32-bit loaded lets have some fun. You guys are starting to make me wanna buy a 8800 series card.

Hmh, it's not as an 'overclock edition' as the XFX was ( this one has stock 600 core / 900 mem, the xfx had 630 core / 1000 mem ) , however i did a 650 / 1050 canyon, so it's less then the XFX but im not to worried, i hope i can hit the clocks of the XFX, pretty sure it's possible, since the XFX had alot of headroom left aswell.

Didnt voltmod it yet, suppose if i do i can get 700 core on air, but no point in doing so. spend the majority of my evening trying to figure out lod for 3dmark06, not really finished yet, but there are a few hundred points to be gained there i suspect.

Just bought more gear pretty excited to see how the W3520 does on a classified board

EDIT: OCC Alliance is 1st in US, they must have picked up some members to gain so many points that quick.

Question: are the i7 980X CPUs still under NDA and not supposed to get global points(or even hardware???) yet?

No, they shouldn't get any points yet. The few hardware points they are getting don't really matter though.

Okay guys need some help with AM3. I'm running win7 tried both 32/64 bit but my 9800gx2 is only scoring 32/33k gfx pts overclocked at 775/1200. Comparing to everyone else on hwbot I should be 65k. Could it be a driver issue?

AM3 scales very good with cpu speed.... and try winxp.... i use XP pro 64 stripped down.

it works very good... less background stuff running the better

perhaps i can interest anyone for my W3540? it did 5270mhz vantage cpu test on my X58A-UD7,
5,4ghz+ 32M and such. coldbug @ around -115 , if no1 needs it on the team, ill place it on XS ( will do that anyway )
but if one of you is interested , gimme a pm
