since u have such a nice proc and ram with good cooling

isnt it better to have higher qpi so ure gc's also have a large gain

    like bclk 200x23-24 , dram 2k c7 uncore 4k. qpi 7.2ghz

    has it ever been done.??
never seen any 950/3540 with dram proc 200x23 dram 2000mhz CL7

Quick question. my current PSU only has *one* 8-pin motherboard power connector. Can I do my initial build with only one plugged in so I don't have to wait for a new PSU to arrive with the appropriate connectors, or will it be an unstable setup?

I have the Corsair HX 1000 but i dont have both plugged in, its pointless enless your doing 5GHZ +, my system is 100% stable at 4.2ghz with 1 8pin plugged in

    Prime v LinX vDIMM ?

    Prime Blend 5.5GB / LinX 5.58GB

finding LinX min vDIMM is higher than Prime.. anyone else get the same ?
my min vTT also higher for LinX (> 20x), but maybe a more marginal difference showing due to +/-25mv only for set vTT.

    Hello

    Hello

after 9 years of AMD now I am back with intel ( from 96 to 2000 I was intel boy)

I love the core i7 and the evga mobo the only thing I do not like is the low memory gap, I have 12G but can only use 9.5......

I shuld try some quad fermi in the future......

I will require a hand to max things out and to stabilize the beast

Did none of you guys get a weird issue with your USB mouse not working after every reboot, forcing you to unplug and replug it after every reboot?

Its driving me nuts! I downloaded the intel chipset drivers but the update happens so quick I don't think it did anything. Still, with Windows 7 I figured the default MS drivers would be plenty fine to prevent crap like this from happening.

    No one else encountered this?

anyone ever seen anything like this

Getting this error trying to run sli 7800gtx 256mb
If I take the card out or change slots it still has the error.

Fresh OS install 85.96 drivers, and all chipset drivers installed.
Read something about changing aperature size but that was agp, but I tried anyways and same issue. Also tryed installing single card first, then adding second card and still no dice.

Is this a nf200 issue? Ive seen others running this setup on different x58 boards?
