    how about super pi 32m?
mine was stable 2 hrs in linpack and 8 hrs in prime blend
but when i try run super pi 32m with a lot of apps in parallel (vmware, media player, copying 300 gb etc) it crashes

The pc is stable @3.8ghz 1.24v vtt and ram @ 1600 mhz CAS 8. I've set the cpu-tweaker latencies in the bios too, so it could not change them.
    so u fully stable 200x19 1600 cas 8?
don't set cas 7 better set higher multi

Ya it just crashed superpi about half way through =( could have been due to ram though it's very sensitive especially with 12gb

    comp didn't fully crash though

i had a few crashes before but didn't knew what is the reason
and now i know a quick way to check stability, especially if run several super pi in parallel
my crashes in half way also, and second parallel craches immediately with sqr05 error

funny that prime blend went without errors 8 hours

    oops sorry
super pi 32m not compatible with vista 64-bit
i have checked it on 2 desktop and one laptop
you need run it either in compatible with xp mode or hyper pi
so it is not a measure of stability

It works just fine at 4.2ghz or lower on my vista 64bit w/o any compat mode.

I give up at 4.4ghz though, prime 2hrs, linpack 4gig 30min, WCG 2 days and right when I take the cpu load off it, it will BSOD within 20min sometimes instantly. I've tried everything to get it stable there so I give up!

edit: oooops sorry I do run hyperpi

I am using the Asus P6T-Deluxe V2. Is it worth it to upgrade to X58-T3EH8 ?
The reason to change is my P6T-D V2 USB seems to be a bit flaky and I never tried any DFI MB before.
I currently run a 920 at 4G. Can I expect the X58-T3EH8 to run at least at the same speed ?

The DFI is the pinnacle of flaky. Can stabilty test all day long but right when i take the load off and let it idle or do light duty gaming it will BSOD within 1 hr. Can't figure out why.

Will be picking up this board in a few days - mind detailing where it falls short? From what I've seen the BIOS is pretty full-featured, if not a bit quirky here and there (all DFI BIOSes are).

Always helpful to know what I should be expecting/what the weak points are. Anything that noticeably affects OC or stability?

All sorts of settings change after reboot, changes when you set something differently like voltages or subtimings without it telling you. Its just too quirky

with vista super pi needs audio service disabled on some systems to work properly it's a vista issue

I have been looking at these too. The price is good and 1600 CL7 looks good too. But new GT's are on the way too, so it is not as easy as it looks.

What is the significance of v2.2 ? now chips, or what?

Ver 2.2 are using old ELPIDA chips, i got the CL8, and i think there are the same chip on them?

on Ud5 and a crappy C0 cpu, i maxed those 950 Cl8 with 1.68v, CL7 im now at 1600, 1.66 so they are pretty good!
but i got 2.1, maybe 2.2 are different.

board and cpu are changed, in a day or two im finelly a DFI UT user! yeeeey! playtime!

I get a hunch (from the price), that it is the same chip as CL8, but I don't know.

These sticks are OK for 24/7 use, but new GT's can change everything very fast. Any news on GT-pricing yet? It will hopefully drop under $200? and in case, these will fast become "old toys". That's what made me wonder and wait.
