i think u should honestly go rad1 -> pump assy -> rad2 -> pump assy 2 -> rad 3 -> pump assy 3 -> gpu instead.
your not gonna get pneumatic... your gonna get Ibiza vortex rave party expecially with a side inlet.

So I need to get the window etching designs into MM real soon (just learned)... Anyone game? I'll be working on my own ugly attempts of logo-ish warfare ... but uhh, if anyone makes a design that I find to be particularly bad @ass, you can have your name below it. Whoopity-frakkin-do! I know. I can feel your anxiety to get started already...
EDIT: ALSO, anyone know what color this crud is: http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=23675 ... Looks red-ish.. just wondering if anyone had any hands on experience with it?

omg im so jealous i so wish i could find one on sale for $500 (impossible probably)
For all those who have purchased an MM case with custom details (nothing major) just painting and configuration and what not, how long do you recall it taking for you to get your case. I made my order on the 15th I think... Just curious as to how much longer I should expect?
I suppose this question is more relevant to those who live in the states.
Thx.

i understand you man. my pace has been pretty slowed down by reality/work/personal life as well. but i try to get some work done on the project, even if a few minutes.
sorry, to ot. but i couldn't help noticing your avatar. is that your own backyard with solar panels? if so, how much power does that generate?
you guys are being pretty hard on him... this is gonna be an epic build...
seems like hes just tryna get some things sorted out...
+1 for res>pump>rad>res>pump>rad>res>pump>rad>gpus
i kinda wanted to see you try the three seperate gpu loops though... lol

Oh don't worry about going ot... usually I end up doing that more than anyone else in my own threads i think... har.
Anyway, yes that is my own backyard, it's a 16KW solar array and powers every last gadget I own. In fact the power meter is always spinning backwards, even on cloudy winter days. The electric company in the area of California where my house is has had an extremely solid incentive program for people, paying them back half the cost of their installations... And when we're talking $140,000 installs, $70,000 is a lot more appealing price tag.
A lot of people simply can't imagine spending that much money on an array and say things like "it will take years to pay for itself", stuff like that... I tell them that's not true, because the money you're now spending monthly to pay off your solar array will be about the same as what you were paying for monthly electricity anyway, accept this way your're:
1) Increasing the value of your property.
2) Increasing your own security when it comes to things like natural disaster when the electric grid goes down. In my situation I have a well, without power to pump the water out I wouldn't be able to get any water, that sort of thing.
3) You're literally reducing your carbon footprint by tons a month and thus helping the environment by reducing your carbon footprint.
I list number 3 last when speaking to people because it's usually the last thing on their minds, especially during "hard times" such as some/many are experiencing right now. Anyhow, I was fortunate enough to be able to pay for it all out right, this is obviously is the better choice so you don't have to pay interest on a loan of any kind. Regardless, in my opinion if you have the ability, investing in alternative energy sources such as PV arrays is as good as gold.
I'm working on some software in my spare spare time right now that will allow me to post statistics concerning my own array to the web for live monitoring, provide data like "how many tons of carbon has been offset, how many trees it would take to plant to do the same thing, how many miles of driving time have been nullified by having an array"... stuff like that.
A little while back I spent an evening making a small javascript app that you may find interesting/scary: You can have a look at that at www.carbonmeter.info (I've only tested it in firefox and am guessing it may have trouble in IE... I hate programming web apps for IE... EDIT: Just checked IE8 using winxp pro 64-bit, surprisingly seems to work.)
How's that for going OT? harhar.![]()

Thanks for the support dubtown, but it's okay, it takes a closet full of velociraptors (not the hard drives. har.) to make me angry.
I agree with your config. I believe its along the same lines as the advice I've received from NaeKuh, it's what I'm going to be testing out first to be sure.

armeniandave of UN Designs has been kind enough to put together the following candidates for the custom rad grills.
We're not sure if whatever choice is decided upon will go on every grill, or for instance on the 3x3 grill, top and center with the rest being of a "standard" design, meaning without the logo. Also, I think there will be some more candidates coming to choose from, not positive yet. Anyhow, feedback and ideas are always appreciated.
As a reminder and to give an idea of some of the grills to be made there will be a 3x3 form, 4x3 form, 4x1 form, 1x1 form, and perhaps one other 3x1+1x1(centered form).

The last two look the least restrictive. I'd go with one of them. Probably the last one, since not many people know what XS stands for, but at least with Xtreme Systems they'll get the name of the site.
- i7 920 D0 // eVGA X58 SLI // 12GB G.Skill Ripjaws // HD6950 (6970 BIOS)
- Apogee XT // MCP655 // Thermochill PA120.3 // CM HAF 932
- OCZ Vertex 3 MI edition // ASUS Xonar DX // Corsair TX850
- HTC Incredible - Uber Kingdom Revolution ROM
I like the last one but you spelled Xtreme wrong![]()
