Just back form hols - good to see that a lot of progress has been made on the detailed bios settings and that people are getting some decent results.

Finally got my W/C hooked up and just running a 24 hr leak test so hope to get some results this weekend. Here's how it's shaping up so far ...

This is my first experience of W/C and after an initial test run using the wife's ionised water for the iron flooded the case things look more promising. Just getting an occasional tick which I guess is trapped air moving about. Cr@p just as I typed this the hose just blew off the pump outlet - that'll be two hose clips there then. Good job Feser One is water based (?) its came off the beige carpet ok just hope it dries without a green tint and the wife is working late.

Sorry for rambling, the real point to my post is to ask what I can expect from my 9770 on water ? - had 4.1Ghz 24/7 from it on air.

    Thanks.
Hey Rob nice system!! I'd really use a long nose plyer and clamp down on the nylon hose clamps, or even better find some jubilee clamps for the pump outlet as the area has the highest pressure in the loop. I'd say you would probably get another 300ish Mhz from the WC depending on your CPU, loop performance and skill

    Anyway back!!

Turbodream, maybe you have to have higher vdimm, I need 2-2.02 for stable system, 1.96 could be to low. also vNB about 1.50 for PL6 and CL7 as you use.

I leave the command skew on auto or normal and the Clock Skew A2, B2 both advance 250ps.

    @Turbodream

Where you are advancing 125ps on the Dram Cmnd Skew I always have to
    go Negative 50ps on A

    And Negative 100ps on B.

Yeah, allways delay on skews for some reason..

what worked on my board was to set cpu delay 400 and nb delay 200, then i got from 4min blend fail, to over 1 hour and i stopped it!
ram skews ar mostly diffrent for what RAM you got, my cell black like its skews off

What did the trick for me was setting the GTLs for CPU at +50 with VTT 1.41 and the NB +60.

    Question

Where can you read about these skew settings anyway and how can you determine what AUTO settings were determined in bios anyway?

Hi Solorfall and EF - thanks for the positive comments and the welcome back .

Spent a few hours routing cables and tidying it up yesterday - then I got bored and hooked it up as it is. I managed to run 32M HyperPi for the first time ever with my settings at 450x9, Real Temp showed a maximum of 58 with N/B at 37 !!!!. I think there is real scope to reach 475x9 or 460x9.5 depending on how loose I want to go with the memory timings.

Need to install the UV lighting and side window this week so still lots to do. The only issue so far is the PSU temp reached 60 possibly due to having fewer fans in the new case so might be on the lookout for one that does not have to work so hard - was thinking Corsair HX1000.

how do you determine which skews to use? Is there a program that will illustrate which skews are set auto?

2nd time I posted this question.

Found the sweet spot on my memory last night - 475 FSB to give 1901Mhz at 7-7-7-18 1T 2.1v results in a 12125Mb/s read speed.

Core 1 (0-3) drops out running HyperPi now at this new frequency (4275) so looking to tune the GTLs later when I have more time.

Any feedback from 0701 bios ?. I'm still on 0501 and will prob stay with that in case any vdroop issues have been fixed on later bios's causing my voltages to be too high.
