4.1+ with 1.31v (this can run all day long like this with 0 issues) i think i can go to 4.2 on the same voltage (benching now at 4.2 with the same voltage so far 28 min orthos stable!!!) though with the vendetta 2 made a really good difference over the 1283 almost 7c overall!!!:

my second e8500 is pretty good, this failed after a while, trying 500x8.5 now.

That are nice temps dude...the vendeta is on high rpm right?...i don't think u run orthos at 4100+ with cooler at low ...anyway, did u use push/pull?...63 is really nice for 4100mhz...my E8400 at 4100+ got @ 70degres or much.......i don't have money for a water cooling system...my cpu does 4300mhz unde 1.4 without problem...but at 4300mhz i have at least 82-86 degres cooler at high...now i run the old 4ghz ...

U're right...4.2/4.3 for 24/7 is really nice...i think i sell my Zalman 9700 and buy a vendeta ...my old E8400 has the nice temps that i saw...at 4GHZ it's need 1.38 Vcore, but that was not a problem because at 4GHZ i had 53 degres...what u say about that?...i sell the old E8400 and got this one...now i regret...because with the pencil mode i can run the old E8400 at 4.2/4.3 ghz and have about 65-67 degres...the Vcore was high, but when u got nice temps it doesn't matter...

They have been to date with the e8600.

What I am eagerly anticipating is the E0 stepping to be released in the lower models (e8400/e8500).

The guys over at X-Bit seem to think that the E0 clocks better.

It's still luck of the draw though. There isn't enough evidence yet to say for sure but generally when Intel updates a processor, the overclocking abilities increase as well. There are some nice Revisoin C0 chips in this thread that are better than X-Bit's E0 at the same voltage.

my e3110 at 4.1 with 1.3375 bios would load out about 10c higher easily.

Here in Serbia is 30 euros, but currently it is out of stock.Definitely best buy.

Here is mine E8400. It is a Q0808...... Got rest of the batch somewhere, but i guess i have been unlucky with getting a 0808. Will probaly try a E0 instead.
The good thing is though that it runs 537 fsb stable on my x38 asus maxumis formula mobo. The temp is a little higher atm because of the summer heat we got here atm. Cooled with thermaltake ultra 120 extreme
