    A little on show floor.

So sorry on this thing guys. I usually do through run of show floor.
But this time, I barely had enough time to talk to vendors on floor and only took pic of what I thought was worth bothering at the time if I passed by one.
Lian-Li. They got new marketing design team and now seem to be going right direction on other than clean look cases. After all there are gamers market and youth oriented market which is good portion of industry now.
I will keep an eye out for some inputs on Lian-Li stuff myself and see if we can get community input through to them

    Yup, X-box aluminum case prototype

And maybe "econo verison" of Lian-Li ... steel aluminum combo. Lot of nice features on these ones though. might come under different branding.

Arctic Cooling. lot of interesting stuff

Can we say no vibration noise on that one?

Looking forward to level of performance on these GPU coolers...

    Their CPU cooler.

One thing I noticed was lot of their products, heat pipe was soldered in with heat block. AFAIK unless it was solid piece this is the best way to conduct the heat through unless HIGH amount of pressure is applied (not practical for manufacturing as well as material concerns).

And their newest silence minded case... lot of passive cooling stuff with good design concepts. Design can use some change in shape and material. I already commented about that one so we will see.

    Another day at Foxxconn.

This was scheduled event. We already had basically 2 overclocking session and one more to go by than. I am sure most of us were falling down drowsing away at this point.

    Vince is... hard at work...

He is actually quite decent at this game... I was impressed

    More benching...

Get back to work Vince!!! I am taking over

Pizza is in. I know for sure I ain't eating pizza for next few weeks anymore.

Not quite sure what these people are doing with table... after few days of straight benching and walking around... I guess anything can happen (J/K)

Yup we are getting tad tired here.

Oh btw, thought that was kind of neat.

    Poor thing.
People kept dumping Dry Ice in it for the effect and eventually, when night was over... I decided to pour some LN in it. I think someone else took this pic after all LN2 has evaporated. Yup fastest way for cold beer or soda or water

Sounds like everyone had a good time

    I see a Lian-Li PSU in that Lian-Li case...

not so much the capacity, but how they had those on idle with a quad socket board on only 650w with 62amp...me thinks something was rigged, but still a nice showing.

They fail to mention the part of the Galaxy failing, possibly in spectacular fashion in a few months

Well actually it had 4 CPU too on that enermax pic.
Honestly, under FULL load, PSU would have been busted is my opinion but even during idle, I doubt most PSU vendor with the same rating would have even pulled it off...
Very nice show off I thought. I got to talk to Joerg for a while and honestly from my experiences, Enermax has been very truthful and trustworthy company when it comes to PSU. Only thing I would rate really higher would be Zippy/Emacs but than you are talking about mucho $$$ and no fancy nice looking things typically.

PS) some of enermax psu is underrated for that new 85 efficiency rating which I thought was nice bonus.

Enermax makes some nice units, but I've seen too many reports of them failing...
Although, I would be willing to give an Enermax a try

Still uploading pics to private FTP server Trouffman In fact, all atendees this year will have access to it and there is no copy rights per say since I ain't making money off this pictures
Feel free to use it where you feel is right guys... For some people with slower access to internet, these pics are rather large (about 3mb a piece) and there are about 600 of them. Just ask me in PM for FTP access tomorrow or give me your address for me to burn DVD and ship it out to you

Trouffman, that indeed might be helpful. Actually my website should have enough to handle the volume between CES attendee without any problem I think. I get 3TB transfer a month in package and 300GB space.
However, I believe transfer from US to Europe would suffer in speed so mirror at different location like yours would be nice to have.

Russel Crowe? Well, guess that's a bit better than Gene Simmons...

I didnt see it in Jins post, so wanted to clarify.
That is, I believe prototype, case for an XBox 360. I looked it over a bit and spoke with one of the Lian Li designers a bit about a few things that I saw as potential and definite problems with it. Most he had already had them working on fixing.
Also threw in the suggestion to make a few alterations for those who are water cooling the xbox. Would give them a nice case to slap it into with little work needed on it and give them the full benefits of what they are interested in doing.
He was HIGHLY enthusiastic about my opinions and even asked about another case design he has in mind.
I can see a very good thing in Lian Li's future with this guy working for them.
