    the pt is that it only needs an eeny weeny cooler at stock or near enuf...use your existing intel cooler if you need a bigger one i have one in the cupboard teehee

    i'll, look at the pack date before xmas, and max 1.225v for 45nm..lol
    remeber 65nm always written 1.35v, 45nm sure has lower vid

    Well i presume this chip was hand picked for the press(INTEL E8500 Presskit review) . I hope all the other chips will equally run on stock 1.12v.
    Pls. can you give us more datas to dream about like how far it can overclock with voltage and temp.

    this one is cherry picked

    so far i haven't seen anyone prime at 4Ghz with only 1.25v with a dual core

    but when we find those good steppings they should be the same or even better

    that one might be cherry picked, but people can get lucky and get a good one too, besides, its just the start, i mean look at the improvement of q6600 b3 to g0, i'm sure intel will improve them even further.

    Yup, 4G at 1.25V is truely Phenomenal
