Wow... Masterkleer 5/8 OD, 7/16 ID

It seems way small compared to my 3/4, 1/2 clearflex

but i really need it as it is the right size for the weirdo barbs on my MP-05...
there were major leaks with the tubing ultiin i tightened the crap out of it with my worm clamps... they almost broke.

will the 7/16 ID fit ok... i know i will keep the section between my iwaki (5/8) and my Tee clearflex.

will there be a difference in temps because of the smaller tubing or no?

i am contemplating rather to do the whole system masterkleer or just the sections that touch the MP-05

Cathar said that 7/16" has slightly higher flow rate than 1/2" because 7/16" is closer to the actual inner diameter of the barbs, while when using 1/2" tubing theres a slight resistance to flow because the water is crashing into the whole front of the barb including the space surrounding the inlet (concave dome like space around the opening of barb, if that makes sense)

In relatively small Lengths, 7/16" will have higher flow rate than 1/2".

If using 7/16", it fits very snung on 1/2" barbs, and clamps are not really needed

I had zero clamps on all 9 barbs in my setup, never a spill because took lots of strenth to pull the tubing off the barbs, its that snug
(but good to have for safety precaution)

ok, now, with my mad skills, i put this 5/8 OD tubing onto my iwaki which has 5/8 barbs... oowww, my thumb hurts
