Thanks for contacting them, and that's a pretty good response. A little suspicious, but good none the less. Hopefully it'll set most everyone more at easeOriginally Posted by ridetherhythm

Me too, they are definately not D9. Mine can't clock higher than 830mhz. Even at 2.5v.Originally Posted by xoqolatl

Come crunch with us. Click me to find out more.
If these ICs really have dimensions of 12.5x10mm then it could be D9GMG or any other BN-x IC.Originally Posted by mrhelix
If they are actually 12x10mm in size it could be any CB-x IC, including D9DCN.
It has either D9GKX or D9GMH. There were some rare cases of it having D9GCT, but you don't have to worry about that.Originally Posted by NIZ
As far as I know only PC6400 Ultra Plus has D9. Your kit (which is just Ultra, without the Plus) has either Aeneon or Elpida.Originally Posted by xoqolatl

Ah, I didn't know that. Haven't seen any of those, but I'll add it to my list after the weekend.Originally Posted by kemo6600
Mine are week 27 of 2006 (according to CPU-Z) and are not D9. I guess all produced after week 27 are definitely not Micron, but we don't know which week was the last to use D9s.

I'm looking for new mems, and my choise probably will be G.Skill 2x1GB F2-8000PHU2-2GBHZ. Anyone can tell me on what IC's are they?
People are saying about D9GMH, D9GKX and D9GCT - but which is on modules in the markets?

I'm just about to buy 2GB of DDR2. The ones I'm looking at are these.
G.Skill HZ 800MHz £160.96 - G.Skill/Proven clocker
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...d=8&subcat=813
Cellshock 800MHz Micron £164.49 - 8 Layer's!
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...d=8&subcat=813
Ballistix 5300C3 £129.24 - Best Price
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=MY-088-CR
Ballistix 6400C4 £158.61 - It's no difference to the 5300 right, not worth another £30?
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...d=8&subcat=813
I have a 1GB kit of Ballistix 5300C3 ATM the moment, which does 1.25GHz 4-4-4-12 2.45v so I'm swayed to get a 2GB kit. What do you guys think?
i7-960@4.2GHz/Rampage III Gene/3GB KHX14400/HD5670
CORSAIR DDR2 TWINX 2x1024 -6400 800@5-5-5-12 HS=Black XMS2 chips???
Any updates on these sticks?
I have some, 4.1 revs that will only do 935MHz so I highly doubt there D9, just wondering what they might be?
Promo's, Elpida maybe?
Edit: Found it out, there QIMONDA

elixer. looks like it's a different form packaging, but if you look at the writing, the codes are similar.

and do you know how these buffalo will overclock? or any other elixir.
should I buy them?
I also see that in the link you post elixir is a bit rectangular, while these buffalo look like a perfect square.
maybe hynix that are more square and have 3 rows of info? also the first row is similar:
512821 in hynix and 512845 in buffalo.
is there any link about how do more or less every IC overclocks?
dont know,
if they had written D9GKX it would be easier to identify them and i would be happier.....LOL

Seems like they are SpecTek, found in trash bin near Micron fab
