Yes, the 2000 C7 are a complete tri-channel kit, the first 2200 C8 were a dual channel kit- the single green 2200 C8 stock seems to be older, SPD says 30/09, the dc-kit spd says 11/2010- maybe you are right, I havenīt had the time for extensive testing yet, but the stick does well, doing 1116 at 1,63 on first test on funcztion with memtest 86 to see if it works

If I were to purchase a kit of the ST hypers which one should I pick?

    2x of these:

    http://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?name=...2GB-CL7-Memory

    or

    1x of These

    http://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?name=...nel-Memory-kit

Which do you think would give me a better overclock? Have the PCB's been straightened out? I'd prefer a black PCB?

Is there a 3x 2gb that's better binned? I'm running AMD but I wouldn't mind picking up a 6gb kit if it'll net me better performance. The third stick would come in handy to when I get around to playing with an i7.

From what i've seen of folks GTX2 results they are about 25-50mhz better than super talent 2200mhz on each cas 6, 7, 8 setting at the same voltages - but for most folks price would be determining factor. 6x2GB Super Talent 2200C8 at US$650 including shipping to OZ vs 6x2GB Corsair GTX2 2250C8 at US$1,500 excluding shipping costs. Difference in price you could get a 240GB Sandforce SSD or 2x 120GB Sanforce SSDs for raid But if you need every ounce of performance for record breaking probably would need GTX2

Well, maybe you are right, I havenīt had DDR3 Corsair because the performance on DDR2 was terrible and I refused to waste my money at ram which was that expensive- but as said I am very satisfied with my STT- heres a quick test, Rams are Memtest86 stable at these settings, but my IMC/Board combi limits me in windows with straght timings

    It can pass trough test 5 @ 1680Mhz C6-6-6-19-25 1.63v
    or 1750Mhz 6-6-6-19-25 1.70v

Definately better then my old Dominator GT 2000 C8

Why? the results are about the same as yours.

    totally stable in memtest but windows 7 sux , I cant boot @ 1766Mhz 6-6-6-18-24 w/ 1.70v but I could @ 1840 7-7-6-19-25

But I can run cinebench @1733Mhz 1.70v w/ DMM on the IC leg, HWmonitor and bios tells me that is 1.65v (is ther any voltage loss from the VDDR RM leg to the memory IC?

    *wipes sweat off forehead*

    Great.

Had a feeling those clocks were stable in windows.

    EDIT:
Not sure about that voltage loss thing. If your board is ov'ing by .05v I'd be concerned.

hehehe, I think our problem still beeing the IMC...

It's overvolting since it cames out of the box, 1.75v gives a killer 1.80v hehehehe

I'm not sure I'm measuring the right spot but it changes when I change the VDDR.

    You do mean 1090T, right?

Am i missing something? because 6/6/6/19 is good but my gt's can do 6/6/6/17 @ 1760??? im not sure what im seeing so special? i know these are cheap but hey..

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

Since I donīt know an UD9 for AMD you might mean Intel- I had the 2200Cl8 on an UD5 with an i860, at 1,66V they are Memtest stable around 1750 6-6-6-16 1T with Auto subs, Performance on Turbo- need a small amount more V(about 0,02V) than my 2000 ProjectX
